About the role

Our team just grew to a dozen people, and you'd be the third analytics engineer joining the search relevance group. We already have solid instrumentation on query volume and click-through, but the connection between RAG retrieval quality and user satisfaction is still mostly guesswork. You'll join a cross-functional squad with defined sprints, clear ownership, and weekly syncs with leadership, building the SQL-based analysis layer that finally closes that gap.

Responsibilities

  • Build SQL-based analysis connecting RAG retrieval quality to user satisfaction metrics
  • Design statistical tests to evaluate search relevance experiments
  • Present findings in weekly syncs with the search relevance team

Requirements

  • Strong SQL skills and statistical analysis experience
  • Familiarity with RAG pipelines and retrieval quality metrics
  • Comfort working in a structured, sprint-based team environment
