About the role

Snowflake, dbt-style transforms, and natural language querying are the three pillars of what we ship. Our platform lets non-technical teams ask questions about company data in plain English and get back a chart, not a support ticket. No fluff here — we're a small team and we move fast. You'll extend our query translation layer, tune how it maps natural language to SQL against messy production schemas, and build the dashboards that make the answers trustworthy. Expect to touch the full stack: warehouse, transformation layer, and the UI that renders results. This role matters because most BI tools fail the moment a question isn't pre-built into a dashboard. We want the person who's tired of watching analysts get bottlenecked by ticket queues and wants to fix it at the root.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the natural language to SQL translation layer
  • Tune query generation against real, messy Snowflake schemas
  • Design dashboards that surface confidence and lineage alongside every answer
  • Work directly with customers to debug misfired queries
  • Reduce time-to-answer for non-technical teams across every deployment

Requirements

  • Deep SQL fluency including window functions and complex joins
  • Experience with Snowflake or a comparable cloud warehouse
  • Has built or maintained a BI tool, dashboarding layer, or query engine
  • Comfortable owning a feature end to end without heavy process
