AI Data Pipeline SLA Reporting Engineer

About the role

We're building the next generation of enterprise data governance tooling, and one gap keeps coming up in client reviews: nobody can say with confidence whether a given pipeline actually met its SLA last month. Our clients include enterprises running hundreds of pipelines across multiple data platforms, and missed SLAs quietly erode trust in the data teams that own them. In this role you'll build the reporting layer that tracks pipeline SLA compliance over time, surfacing trends by team and by pipeline so data leaders can act on patterns instead of individual incidents. Reliability and auditability matter — every SLA number needs to be traceable back to the raw run logs behind it.

Responsibilities

  • Build SLA compliance tracking across enterprise data pipelines
  • Design Tableau dashboards showing SLA trends by team and pipeline
  • Own alerting for pipelines trending toward SLA breach
  • Document SLA methodology for client-facing governance reviews

Requirements

  • 5+ years in data engineering with strong SQL and Airflow skills
  • Experience with SLA, uptime, or reliability reporting
  • Comfortable presenting findings to data leadership stakeholders
