About the role

We already run nightly ETL jobs across dozens of source systems feeding our analytics warehouse. What's missing is a rule engine that catches schema drift and bad data before it lands in production tables instead of after finance notices the numbers look wrong. You'll design a configurable rules framework that data owners can extend without writing new pipeline code. Auditability matters here — every rule failure needs a clear owner and a clear fix path.

Responsibilities

  • Design a configurable data quality rules framework
  • Detect schema drift across ingestion pipelines
  • Build alerting for rule failures with clear ownership
  • Document rule logic for data owners to extend

Requirements

  • 4+ years with etl pipelines and sql
  • Experience with airflow and spark
  • Comfortable working on a defined contract scope
