AI Deep Learning Engineer

Aaron Eriksson

Full-time · Job · Berlin

About the role

Our satellite imagery models are accurate in the lab but degrade badly on real-world edge cases like cloud cover and seasonal lighting shifts. We believe better environmental monitoring should be available to everyone, not just governments with large budgets, and that starts with models that actually hold up in production. You'll rebuild our core computer vision architectures in PyTorch and TensorFlow, containerize them with Docker, and work closely with the remote sensing team to validate results against ground-truth field data.

Responsibilities

  • Rebuild core computer vision models to improve robustness on edge cases
  • Benchmark PyTorch and TensorFlow architectures against field validation data
  • Containerize models with Docker for reliable deployment across regions

Requirements

  • Deep experience with computer vision and PyTorch or TensorFlow in production
  • Track record of improving model robustness on real-world edge cases
  • Comfort collaborating with domain scientists outside of engineering

Benefits

  • Fully remote position across European time zones
  • Annual research and conference budget
  • Equity and relocation support if desired
