About the role

Our retail clients need to know how much of each product to stock in each warehouse next week. Too much, and they're paying for storage. Too little, and they lose sales. Our demand forecasting models make these predictions for 50,000 SKUs across 200 warehouse locations — and getting it right saves our clients millions. As a junior demand forecasting analyst, you'll help maintain and improve our prediction pipelines. You'll clean and validate sales data, run model accuracy reports, investigate forecast errors, and build Tableau dashboards that help clients understand where and why forecasts deviate from actuals. No forecasting experience needed — we'll teach you the domain. What we need is someone who's meticulous with data, curious about patterns, and comfortable learning new statistical concepts quickly.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor demand forecasting pipelines for 50,000 SKUs
  • Clean and validate retail sales data for model consumption
  • Run model accuracy reports and investigate forecast deviation patterns
  • Build Tableau dashboards for client forecast performance visibility
  • Assist senior analysts with feature engineering and model evaluation

Requirements

  • Python proficiency with pandas for data analysis
  • SQL skills for querying large retail datasets
  • Basic understanding of statistics and time series concepts
  • Tableau or data visualization experience
  • Meticulous attention to data quality and detail
