About the role

Inovex Intelligence builds the ML developer platform that engineering teams use to ship AI features faster. One category of tooling we've been asked for repeatedly by enterprise clients: help us figure out which of our 2,000 dependency CVEs actually matter and need patching this week, versus which ones can wait. Right now, teams are either ignoring everything or panicking at everything. In this role, you'll build the ML models that score dependency vulnerabilities by actual exploitability risk in ML pipeline contexts — factoring in reachability, environment exposure, dependency depth, and historical exploit activity. You'll integrate with existing SCA tools (Snyk, Dependabot) and deliver prioritized, explainable outputs that platform engineers can action without becoming security experts. You'll join a cross-functional squad with security engineers, platform engineers, and product. Structured sprints, clear ownership, and weekly syncs with the head of platform are how we work. Mid-level with a fast track to senior based on delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Build ML models for dependency vulnerability exploitability risk scoring
  • Integrate with SCA tools (Snyk, Dependabot) to consume vulnerability feeds
  • Develop reachability and exposure analysis for ML pipeline dependency graphs
  • Own the prioritization output API consumed by the developer platform dashboard
  • Monitor scoring model accuracy against real-world exploit incidents

Requirements

  • 3+ years in platform engineering, ML infrastructure, or security engineering
  • Strong Python and Kubernetes skills
  • Familiarity with CVSS, EPSS, or similar vulnerability scoring frameworks
  • Experience building APIs consumed by developer tooling
  • Security engineering background is a strong plus
