AI Deployment Regression Bisection Engineer

About the role

PyTorch model registries, Kubernetes deployments, and Airflow-orchestrated rollout pipelines are the core of what our platform manages for customers. If you've ever spent a night manually bisecting which of twelve deployed changes caused a metric to crater, this role automates that away. You will build a bisection engine that automatically walks backward through recent deployment history, isolating the specific change responsible for a detected regression, and produces a root-cause report before an on-call engineer even opens their laptop. You'll integrate directly with our existing blue-green deployment and shadow testing infrastructure, working alongside the team that built those systems.

Responsibilities

  • Build an automated bisection engine isolating the deployment change causing a regression
  • Integrate bisection logic with existing blue-green and shadow testing infrastructure
  • Generate root-cause reports on-call engineers can act on immediately
  • Orchestrate bisection runs as Airflow-managed jobs
  • Continuously validate bisection accuracy against manually confirmed incident causes

Requirements

  • 6+ years in infrastructure or deployment reliability engineering
  • Deep hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker in production
  • Comfortable orchestrating pipelines with Airflow
  • Experience with deployment or release engineering at scale
