AI Deployment War Room Coordination Bot Developer

Mia Levy

Freelance · Job · New_York

About the role

Our data pipelines are growing faster than our incident response tooling can keep up with. When a major deployment goes wrong, engineers currently coordinate manually across Slack channels while trying to diagnose root cause, which wastes precious minutes during high-severity incidents. We're hiring a freelancer to build a bot that automatically pulls relevant deployment logs, recent changes, and related past incidents into a single war room thread the moment an incident is declared.

Responsibilities

  • Build a bot that assembles relevant deployment context when an incident is declared
  • Integrate with deployment logs, change history, and past incident records
  • Design a clear war room thread format that reduces diagnosis time
  • Deliver the bot as a scoped freelance engagement with clear milestones

Requirements

  • Experience building LLM-powered bots with LangChain or the OpenAI API
  • Familiarity with incident response workflows and tooling
  • Comfortable working independently on a freelance basis
  • Docker and AWS experience for deployment of the bot itself

Benefits

  • Fully remote freelance engagement
  • Milestone-based payments
  • Direct collaboration with platform engineering leadership
  • Potential for ongoing freelance work
