About the role

Technical documentation should improve based on how developers actually interact with it. When 40 developers have viewed the same API reference page and 35 of them opened a Stack Overflow tab within 2 minutes, that's a signal the documentation failed. When 500 developers read a tutorial and 460 of them successfully made their first API call, that's a signal worth amplifying. We build documentation platforms for 95 API companies, and our analytics tell documentation teams what content developers view. What they don't tell is why certain content fails and what specifically to fix. You'll build the feedback intelligence layer: connecting developer behavior signals (drop-off points, search queries after reading, support ticket correlations, copy-without-understanding patterns) to specific documentation quality issues, and generating actionable recommendations for documentation authors. This is a mid-level engineering role with clear scope and direct product impact. Documentation authors will use your output to prioritize what to fix. You'll work closely with the product manager who owns the documentation analytics product to validate that the intelligence you're surfacing actually changes what authors do.

Fully remote.
