AI Disinformation Network Graph Analyst

Ryan Kovacs

Full-time · Job · New_York

About the role

Coordinated disinformation campaigns don't look like organic content at the network level. Inauthentic accounts amplify each other in timing patterns that differ from genuine engagement. Narrative threads propagate through relay networks with structural signatures. Content reuse patterns across accounts reveal coordination that individual account analysis misses. We provide influence operation detection capabilities to government agencies, social media platforms, and media organizations. Disinformation network analysis is our most technically complex product: building the graph models that distinguish coordinated inauthentic behavior from organic activity at the network level, across multiple platforms, in multiple languages simultaneously. You'll lead the network graph analysis capability: designing graph neural network models for coordinated behavior detection, engineering network structure features that capture timing coordination, amplification relay patterns, and account behavior clustering, and building the attribution pipeline that connects detected networks to known influence operation archetypes. You'll present findings in intelligence report format to government agency clients. The role is hybrid — 2 days per week in DC for classified briefings.

Responsibilities

  • Design graph neural network models detecting coordinated inauthentic behavior patterns at network level
  • Engineer timing coordination, amplification relay, and content reuse features across account networks
  • Build attribution pipeline connecting detected networks to known influence operation campaign types
  • Implement cross-platform network analysis linking coordinated accounts across social media ecosystems
  • Develop adversarial robustness as detected actors adapt coordination techniques
  • Produce intelligence reports presenting network analysis findings to government agency clients

Requirements

  • 6+ years in ML engineering with graph analytics, social network analysis, or threat intelligence experience
  • Deep expertise in graph neural networks and network structure feature engineering
  • Strong Python and Spark skills for large-scale social graph data processing
  • Understanding of influence operation tactics and coordinated inauthentic behavior detection
  • Ability to produce intelligence-grade analytical reports and present to government stakeholders

Benefits

  • Hybrid: 2 days DC, 3 days remote
  • Top-of-market compensation for specialized threat intelligence ML expertise
  • Comprehensive health benefits
  • $5,000 annual professional development budget
  • Clearance support for classified client programs
