AI Dispute Evidence Compilation Engineer

About the role

We don't care where you work from. We care about output, clear communication, and ownership. Right now our payment dispute team spends hours manually pulling transaction logs, chat history, and shipping records every time a chargeback comes in. This role exists to automate that evidence compilation so disputes get resolved faster and with a stronger paper trail behind every case.

Responsibilities

  • Automate compilation of transaction and shipping evidence for disputes
  • Build ETL pipelines pulling data from multiple internal systems
  • Partner with the disputes team to understand what evidence wins cases
  • Reduce manual evidence-gathering time across the dispute queue

Requirements

  • 1-3 years working with ETL pipelines or backend data systems
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Python for data extraction
  • Interest in payments or fraud/dispute operations
  • Comfortable working asynchronously with a distributed team
