About the role

Technical documentation gets outdated the moment it's published. API references drift from actual behavior. User guides describe features that have changed. Our platform solves this by continuously comparing documentation against source code, changelogs, and API responses — then flagging inconsistencies and suggesting updates. You'll build the intelligence engine that powers this comparison: semantic similarity between documentation sections and code behavior, change detection across document versions, and the generation pipeline that drafts update suggestions for human review. We serve 8,000 users who maintain technical documentation for software products. The challenge isn't generating text — it's understanding technical content deeply enough to know when documentation and reality have diverged.

Responsibilities

  • Build semantic comparison systems between documentation and source code behavior
  • Design change detection pipelines for tracking documentation drift
  • Implement generation pipelines for documentation update suggestions
  • Optimize RAG retrieval for technical content across code and docs
  • Own evaluation metrics for detection accuracy and suggestion quality

Requirements

  • 3+ years in NLP with technical content or code understanding experience
  • Hands-on LangChain and RAG architecture experience
  • Familiarity with code analysis and developer tooling
  • Strong Python skills with FastAPI
  • Interest in developer experience and documentation quality
