About the role

Every firmware rollout to our wearable fleet risks bricking devices that are already on people's wrists. We're looking for someone to build the validation gate that catches model regressions before a firmware push ever reaches a customer device. You'll spend most of your time simulating device conditions and comparing model outputs against known-good baselines before every release.

Responsibilities

  • Build validation gates that block risky firmware rollouts
  • Simulate low-power and low-memory device conditions for testing
  • Compare on-device model outputs against known-good baselines
  • Partner with firmware engineers to triage validation failures

Requirements

  • 3+ years working with embedded or on-device ML models
  • Experience with TensorFlow Lite or a comparable edge framework
  • Comfortable working closely with firmware and hardware teams
  • Familiarity with containerized testing environments
