AI EV Charging Station Siting Analyst

About the role

We serve over 200 municipal and utility partners who need to know where to put the next fifty charging stations without guessing. The person in this role combines traffic flow data, grid capacity constraints, and demographic projections into a siting score cities can defend in a public council meeting. You'll spend a good chunk of your time translating model output into plain-language recommendations that non-technical planning staff can actually act on.

Responsibilities

  • Build siting scores from traffic, grid, and demographic datasets
  • Translate model recommendations into planning-friendly reports
  • Validate grid capacity constraints with utility partner data
  • Present findings at partner planning review sessions

Requirements

  • Experience with geospatial or urban planning adjacent datasets
  • Strong sql and python for merging multi-source data
  • Comfortable presenting technical findings to non-technical audiences
  • Familiarity with gcp-hosted data pipelines
