About the role

We closed our Series B three months ago with one clear mandate: ship better product decisions faster. Our PM team reviews hundreds of user signals per sprint and currently does this mostly by intuition. That's not scalable at 12 product lines and 3 new markets. The AI Feature Prioritization Engine is the project that changes this. It ingests usage telemetry, NPS signals, churn indicators, and support ticket clusters to surface a ranked set of feature bets for each product squad. You'd be building it from scratch, with full ownership from data model to inference API to PM-facing dashboard. You'll work within a small AI team of 4 engineers and report directly to the VP of Product Engineering. The expectation is that within 6 months, this system is the first thing PMs look at in sprint planning.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement the signal ingestion pipeline across product telemetry, support tickets, and NPS data
  • Build multi-signal ranking models that produce per-feature priority scores
  • Own the feature store and model retraining cadence via Airflow
  • Create PM-facing APIs and documentation for integration into planning tools
  • Define evaluation metrics and run offline/online experiments to validate ranking quality

Requirements

  • 5+ years in applied ML or data science with product analytics exposure
  • Experience building ranking or recommendation systems
  • Python fluency and SQL proficiency for complex multi-source data joins
  • Strong product sense — able to translate PM needs into ML specifications
  • Experience shipping models that non-technical stakeholders use directly
