AI Feature Rollout Communication Bot Developer

About the role

LangChain, the OpenAI API, and FastAPI are the core of what we build. If you like shipping tools that other engineers actually use every week, this role is built around exactly that. You'll build the internal bot that watches our feature flag and deployment systems, then automatically drafts rollout announcements and posts them to the right Slack channels with the right level of detail for each audience, engineering, support, and leadership. You'll work closely with the platform team that owns our deployment pipeline, wiring your bot into events they already emit rather than building new infrastructure from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Build the FastAPI service that powers the rollout communication bot
  • Write LLM prompts that generate audience-appropriate rollout summaries
  • Integrate with existing deployment and feature flag event streams
  • Iterate based on feedback from engineering, support and leadership

Requirements

  • 3+ years building backend services in Python
  • Experience with LangChain or direct OpenAI API integration
  • Comfortable designing FastAPI services from scratch
  • Bonus: experience with Slack app development
