About the role

The EU AI Act requires organizations to maintain model cards, risk assessments, and transparency documentation for every AI system they deploy. Most companies have 40 to 200 deployed models and no systematic way to produce or maintain this documentation — it is written manually by whoever has time, quickly goes stale, and fails audits. We automate AI governance documentation. Our platform extracts metadata from ML systems — training data lineage, evaluation metrics, fairness assessments, deployment configurations — and generates first-draft documentation that compliance teams review and approve rather than write from scratch. The time savings are real: clients go from 3 weeks per model to 2 days. You'll build the generation pipeline that turns structured model metadata into compliant, readable documentation. That's an NLP problem — producing consistent, accurate, legally-appropriate language from structured inputs — plus a workflow problem of extracting that metadata from the diverse model tracking systems our clients use.

Responsibilities

  • Build generation pipelines producing model cards and risk assessments from structured metadata
  • Design metadata extraction connectors for MLflow, Weights & Biases, and custom tracking systems
  • Implement compliance template library covering EU AI Act, ISO 42001, and NIST AI RMF
  • Create review workflow that routes generated documentation to the right approvers
  • Build versioning system that keeps documentation synchronized with model updates
  • Collaborate with legal team to validate documentation language against regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • 3+ years in NLP engineering or ML engineering with documentation or compliance domain experience
  • Experience with LLM-based text generation and structured-to-text pipelines
  • Strong Python and API development skills
  • Familiarity with AI governance frameworks or model documentation standards
  • Ability to collaborate with legal and compliance stakeholders
