AI Incident Automation Engineer

About the role

We're building the observability layer that on-call engineers actually want to use at 3am. Right now, too much of our incident triage still relies on a human staring at dashboards trying to guess which alert matters. You'll automate the correlation and prioritization steps that currently eat up the first twenty minutes of every incident, integrating with our existing Kubernetes and Azure infrastructure so the automation just works without extra tooling. You'll be the fourth engineer on a team of twelve, working directly with our SRE lead and reporting into weekly reliability reviews.

Responsibilities

  • Build automated alert correlation and triage pipelines
  • Integrate incident automation with existing Azure infrastructure
  • Reduce time-to-acknowledge for high-severity incidents
  • Partner with SREs on postmortem automation

Requirements

  • 3+ years building infrastructure automation with Python
  • Experience with Kubernetes and Azure environments
  • Familiarity with MLflow or similar tracking tools
  • Comfortable working in an on-call rotation
