About the role

Our clients have AI models. They also have CRMs, ERPs, data warehouses, and legacy systems held together by hope and FTP transfers. Your job: make them talk to each other. We're a consulting firm that specializes in AI integration for mid-market companies. Each engagement is different — one week you're connecting a sentiment analysis model to Salesforce, the next you're building a FastAPI middleware layer between a recommendation engine and a legacy inventory system. This is a contract-to-hire role. You'll start with 2 client engagements to prove the fit, then transition to full-time if it works. We need someone who's comfortable with ambiguity, quick to learn new systems, and good at explaining technical decisions to non-technical clients.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Design and build integration layers between AI models and enterprise systems
  • Develop FastAPI middleware for real-time model serving and data exchange
  • Build ETL pipelines connecting AI outputs to CRM and ERP systems
  • Document integration architectures and train client teams on maintenance
  • Manage 2-3 concurrent client engagements with clear deliverables

Requirements

  • 3+ years in software engineering or systems integration
  • Strong Python and FastAPI skills
  • Experience with REST APIs and middleware development
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, data warehouses)
  • AWS experience and Docker proficiency
