About the role

Support teams we work with watch their knowledge base quietly go stale while conversational search keeps citing outdated articles anyway. Fast-moving team, real problem — this role builds the scoring system that flags articles likely to be outdated based on usage signals, contradicting newer articles, and time since last edit. You'll work directly with the two other engineers on this pod, no layers of approval, just shipping something support teams will actually trust.

Responsibilities

  • Build a freshness-scoring system for knowledge base articles
  • Design signals that detect contradicting or stale content
  • Ship directly with a small, fast-moving pod

Requirements

  • 5+ years in NLP or applied ML engineering
  • Experience with retrieval or knowledge-base search systems
  • Comfortable shipping without heavy process overhead
