About the role

We serve enterprise clients whose knowledge graphs quietly go stale the moment source systems change upstream, and nobody notices until a query returns something wrong. You'll build a monitoring layer that tracks freshness across graph entities and relationships, flagging stale nodes before they propagate into downstream applications. This starts as a contract-to-hire engagement with a clear path to a permanent senior role for the right fit.

Responsibilities

  • Build freshness monitoring across knowledge graph entities and relationships
  • Own alerting for stale or drifted graph data
  • Partner with client-facing teams to prioritize monitored entity types
  • Integrate monitoring with existing Kafka-based update streams

Requirements

  • 6+ years in data engineering or knowledge graph systems
  • Strong Spark and Kafka experience at production scale
  • Track record building monitoring or observability systems
  • Open to an on-site contract-to-hire arrangement
