About the role

Distributed teams shouldn't need a finance meeting to find out which team's queries are driving up the knowledge graph's compute bill. We believe every team deserves visibility into what their own usage costs, not just a single shared number buried in a cloud invoice. This role builds the chargeback system that attributes graph query cost back to the team and application that generated it, working async with finance and each consuming team to validate the numbers.

Responsibilities

  • Build a cost chargeback system for knowledge graph query usage
  • Design attribution logic tying queries to consuming teams
  • Work async with finance to validate chargeback accuracy

Requirements

  • 5+ years working with data platform cost or usage analytics
  • Strong SQL and distributed systems fundamentals
  • Comfortable operating in a fully async environment
