About the role

Our clients include regional hospital networks that depend on us to flag abnormal lab results before they slip past a busy clinician. The person in this role will help maintain and improve the models that catch those outliers, working on-site with our clinical data team so you can see firsthand how your work changes a physician's workflow. Reliability and auditability are non-negotiable here.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain anomaly detection models flagging abnormal lab results
  • Validate model flags against clinician feedback each week
  • Support the clinical data team with ad hoc analysis requests
  • Document model changes for our internal audit process

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in healthcare data or applied statistics
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, and scikit-learn
  • Comfortable working on-site with clinical stakeholders
  • Attention to detail given the sensitivity of the data
