About the role

We spend seven figures a year across three different LLM providers, and nobody has systematically compared what we're actually paying against current market rates for equivalent throughput. This role builds the benchmarking system that tracks vendor pricing changes and flags when we're overpaying relative to the market, arming procurement with data instead of vendor sales pitches.

Responsibilities

  • Build a benchmarking system tracking LLM vendor pricing changes
  • Flag pricing gaps relative to market rates
  • Arm procurement with data for vendor renewal negotiations

Requirements

  • 5+ years in FinOps, procurement analytics, or infrastructure cost management
  • Strong Python and statistical analysis skills
  • Comfortable working closely with procurement and legal
