About the role

Our fraud team is drowning in loan applications that need manual triage before underwriting even starts, and legitimate applicants are waiting days because of it. We believe fast, fair access to credit matters, so this role builds the triage model that separates clear-fraud applications from ones that need human review — cutting wait times for honest applicants while catching more fraud. You'll work closely with underwriting to make sure the model doesn't just optimize for speed.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Build a triage model separating clear-fraud from human-review cases
  • Work with underwriting to validate model fairness
  • Monitor triage accuracy against fraud outcomes

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience with classification modeling
  • Interest in fair-lending or credit risk topics
