AI Long-Form Editorial Content Optimizer

About the role

Jorvex Studio's clients are media companies, B2B publishers, and content-first brands who produce 50-100 long-form articles per month. Optimizing those articles for readability, SEO structure, and audience retention used to require a senior editor for each piece. We're building the AI tooling that surfaces optimization recommendations automatically — and we need a junior engineer to help build it. In this role, you'll implement NLP-based readability and engagement scoring models, build the prompt chains that generate specific, actionable revision suggestions for editors, and help wire these outputs into the Jorvex editorial platform UI. You'll work closely with a senior LLM engineer who will review your work and help you grow quickly. This is an entry-level role in a team that invests in junior talent. You'll ship to production within your second week, receive regular code reviews, and own a clear feature track. If you want to learn how LLM-powered product features are actually built and maintained, this is a hands-on environment.

Responsibilities

  • Implement readability and engagement scoring models for long-form editorial content
  • Build prompt chains that generate revision suggestions for editors
  • Own the data pipeline from article ingestion to scoring output
  • Collaborate with product to wire outputs into the editorial platform UI
  • Monitor model quality and handle regression incidents under senior guidance

Requirements

  • Basic Python skills
  • Exposure to LLM APIs or prompt engineering concepts
  • Interest in editorial content, media, or content strategy
  • Strong written communication in English
  • Prior coursework or project work in NLP or content analytics is a plus
