AI Marketing Attribution QA Engineer

About the role

Our attribution models drive real budget decisions for dozens of marketing teams, which means a silent bug in the pipeline can quietly misallocate hundreds of thousands of dollars before anyone notices. We need a contractor to build a rigorous QA layer around our attribution outputs: statistical sanity checks, anomaly detection on model drift, and automated comparisons against known-good historical runs. You'll work closely with the two data scientists who own the core models, acting as their independent check before any new attribution version ships to a customer's live dashboard.

Responsibilities

  • Design statistical sanity checks that run against every new attribution model version
  • Build anomaly detection to catch silent drift in attribution outputs
  • Write SQL-based comparison reports against historical known-good runs
  • Sign off independently before new model versions reach customer dashboards

Requirements

  • Solid grounding in statistics, especially around drift and anomaly detection
  • Strong SQL skills for building comparison and validation queries
  • Python experience for scripting automated QA checks
  • Available for a 4-6 month contract, 25-30 hours per week
