About the role

As a fully async team spread across 9 time zones, we believe great engineers can work from anywhere, and our documentation has to keep up with a product that ships weekly. We already generate API reference docs automatically from our codebase, but migration guides between SDK versions are still written by hand, and they fall out of date within weeks of every release. Your role is to build a system that detects breaking changes between SDK versions and drafts migration guide updates automatically, using our existing changelog and API diff data as input, with a human reviewer in the loop before anything publishes.

Responsibilities

  • Build a pipeline detecting breaking changes between SDK versions
  • Generate draft migration guide content using RAG over existing docs
  • Design a human-in-the-loop review step before publishing
  • Integrate with existing changelog and release tooling
  • Iterate on prompt design based on reviewer feedback

Requirements

  • Python experience and familiarity with LangChain or similar RAG frameworks
  • Interest in developer tooling and documentation systems
  • Comfort working fully async across many time zones
  • OpenAI API experience a plus
  • 0-2 years experience welcome
