AI MLOps Automation Engineer

About the role

We already have solid model registry and feature store infrastructure. What's missing is the automation that promotes a model from the registry into a serving environment without an engineer manually running the same six commands every time. You'll build a lightweight automation script suite on top of our existing MLflow registry that handles packaging, validation, and promotion to our Azure-hosted serving layer. This freelance engagement is scoped to a specific automation milestone, ideal if you want focused, well-defined project work rather than an open-ended commitment.

Responsibilities

  • Automate model promotion from registry to serving environment
  • Add validation checks before automated promotion steps
  • Package automation scripts for the MLOps team to maintain
  • Document the automated promotion workflow

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience with MLflow or similar model registries
  • Basic familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Some exposure to Azure cloud environments
  • Comfortable with a scoped freelance project
