AI Model Registry Access Audit Engineer

About the role

As a fully async team spread across nine time zones, we believe great engineers don't need constant check-ins to do great work. Our model registry has grown past the point where we can manually audit who has access to which model versions. We need a contractor to build automated access auditing so that every registry pull, promotion, and deletion is logged and reviewable without a spreadsheet.

Responsibilities

  • Build automated audit logging for model registry access events
  • Design periodic access review reports for the platform team
  • Flag anomalous registry access patterns for follow-up
  • Integrate audit logging with our existing MLflow deployment

Requirements

  • 3+ years working with MLflow or a similar model registry
  • Experience with AWS IAM and audit logging patterns
  • Comfortable working async with minimal supervision
  • Available for a 3-month contract with possible extension
