About the role

We don't care where you work from most days, but we do want you in the room for our weekly incident review, because that's where the best monitoring ideas actually come from. You'll support our SRE and observability team by building analytics on top of the alert and incident data we already collect, helping identify which alerts are actually useful and which ones just add noise to an already busy on-call rotation. This is a hybrid role: most work is async and remote, but the weekly incident review happens in person at our local office, and attendance there is expected.

Responsibilities

  • Build SQL-based analytics on top of alert and incident data
  • Identify low-value alerts contributing to on-call fatigue
  • Support Kubernetes-based monitoring services with data analysis
  • Attend the weekly in-person incident review

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience with SQL and Python for data analysis
  • Basic familiarity with Kubernetes environments
  • Comfortable working hybrid with a required weekly in-person meeting
  • Interest in observability and incident response
