AI Multi-Region Model Sync Engineer

About the role

Have you ever shipped a model update to one region only to have a customer in another region hit the stale version for six extra hours because sync silently failed? We have, more than once, and it's the reason this role exists. You'll build a reliable multi-region model synchronization system with proper versioning, rollback, and alerting so a failed sync in Frankfurt gets caught before it reaches a customer in Singapore. This is a senior, largely autonomous role — you'll define the architecture, not just implement someone else's spec.

Responsibilities

  • Design multi-region model sync with versioning and rollback support
  • Build alerting so sync failures are caught before customer impact
  • Own the architecture decisions for cross-region deployment

Requirements

  • 5+ years in ml infrastructure or distributed systems engineering
  • Strong kubernetes and multi-region aws experience
  • Comfortable owning architecture decisions independently
