AI Multilingual Support Translation Engineer

About the role

Our support queue is now 40% non-English tickets, and our agents can only read three of the eleven languages customers write in. We're looking for someone to build the translation and tone-preservation layer that sits between incoming tickets and our agent console, so a message from Tokyo reads as naturally as one from Toronto. You'll join a cross-functional squad with defined sprints, clear ownership, and weekly syncs with the support operations lead. Success means agents stop guessing what a garbled auto-translation meant.

Responsibilities

  • Own the translation and tone-preservation pipeline end to end
  • Evaluate model output quality against native-speaker review panels
  • Define SLAs for translation latency inside the support console

Requirements

  • 5+ years in NLP or applied ML engineering
  • Experience with LLM-based translation or localization systems
  • Track record shipping production support tooling
