About the role

You'll be the third analytics engineer on a team of 9, working directly with the product lead for our dashboarding suite. Customers currently get raw anomaly alerts with no context; your job is to generate plain-English summaries explaining what changed and why it might matter. You'll own the summarization pipeline from anomaly detection through to the notification customers receive in Slack. This team runs on defined sprints, clear ownership, and a biweekly demo to the whole company.

Responsibilities

  • Own the KPI alert summarization pipeline end to end
  • Partner with the product lead on alert tone and clarity
  • Tune summarization prompts based on customer feedback

Requirements

  • 3+ years building analytics or nlp features
  • Experience with sql and openai api integration
  • Comfortable iterating quickly based on customer feedback
