About the role

The models you build will help 500+ SaaS companies understand why their customers are unhappy — before they churn. Jarvik Solutions builds AI-powered customer success tooling, and the NPS Intelligence layer is one of our most-requested features. Right now, it's largely manual: a customer success manager reads survey comments and tags themes by hand. In this role, you'll automate that process. You'll build NLP classifiers that extract themes from open-ended NPS survey responses, develop scoring models that correlate response sentiment with churn risk, and wire these outputs into the Jarvik dashboard used by CS teams daily. This is an ideal role for a junior engineer who has done some NLP coursework or personal projects and wants to ship production models for the first time. You'll work closely with a senior engineer who will review your code, help you scope releases, and give you real ownership of the feature track.

Responsibilities

  • Build NLP classifiers for theme extraction from NPS open-ended responses
  • Develop sentiment-to-churn correlation scoring models
  • Own the data pipeline from raw survey responses to dashboard outputs
  • Write unit tests and model evaluation reports for each release
  • Collaborate with customer success managers to validate model outputs

Requirements

  • Basic Python and pandas skills
  • Exposure to NLP concepts (classification, sentiment analysis)
  • Familiarity with SQL for data exploration
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn in a fast-moving environment
  • Experience with Hugging Face or similar NLP libraries is a plus
