About the role

We don't care where you work from. We care about output, clear communication, and ownership of the problem end to end. This freelance engagement is about personalizing the onboarding checklist every new user sees inside our knowledge platform — right now every user gets the same generic checklist regardless of their role or what they're actually trying to accomplish. You'll build a retrieval layer that matches checklist items to user context pulled from their first few actions in the product, working async with our product and content teams spread across multiple time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Build a retrieval pipeline that personalizes onboarding checklist items
  • Use early user behavior signals to infer relevant checklist content
  • Collaborate async with product and content teams on checklist copy
  • Report checklist completion rate improvements to the product team

Requirements

  • Solid hands-on experience with RAG pipelines and LLM APIs
  • Comfortable working independently on a freelance basis
  • Strong async written communication skills
