About the role

We connect AI models to business processes for mid-market companies. Not the sexy part of AI — the plumbing. Data flows in, gets transformed, hits a model, comes back out, and updates a dashboard or triggers an action. When the plumbing works, nobody notices. When it breaks, everyone calls us. As a junior pipeline developer, you'll build and maintain the Airflow DAGs and FastAPI services that connect our clients' AI models to their business systems. You'll start with simple integrations — scheduled batch scoring jobs, API endpoints for real-time predictions — and work up to more complex multi-step workflows. Our senior engineers write clean, well-tested code and they expect the same from you. Code reviews are thorough, documentation is mandatory, and testing is not optional. If you want to learn production engineering the right way, this is the place.

Responsibilities

  • Build Airflow DAGs for scheduled AI model scoring pipelines
  • Develop FastAPI endpoints for real-time model inference
  • Write integration tests and maintain pipeline documentation
  • Monitor pipeline health and troubleshoot failures
  • Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions

Requirements

  • Python proficiency and basic SQL skills
  • Familiarity with Docker containers
  • Exposure to Airflow or similar workflow tools (coursework counts)
  • Understanding of REST APIs and web services
  • Attention to code quality and willingness to write tests
