AI Predictive Dashboard Alerting Developer

About the role

Business dashboards are reactive by design — you open them when you think something is wrong. Predictive alerting flips that: the system tells you something will go wrong before you have to look. We've built predictive alerting into our embedded analytics platform, and it's the feature our 3,200 clients mention most in NPS surveys. We're just getting started. As a junior developer on the alerting team, you'll build and maintain the pipeline features that power predictive alerts: the anomaly detection models that identify unusual metric movements, the scheduling system that evaluates alert conditions on fresh data, and the delivery layer that routes alerts to Slack, email, or webhook endpoints. This is a learning role. You'll be the fifth engineer on an experienced team, working on a feature that touches every part of our platform. Expect to learn fast and ship code that real customers see within your first month.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain anomaly detection models for business metric alerting
  • Implement alert scheduling that evaluates conditions on freshly updated data
  • Develop delivery integrations for Slack, email, and webhook endpoints
  • Write tests for alert evaluation logic and delivery reliability
  • Monitor alert pipeline health and fix issues during business hours
  • Help triage customer-reported false positives to improve detection quality

Requirements

  • 1+ year of Python development with SQL experience
  • Basic understanding of time series concepts or anomaly detection
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and webhook delivery patterns
  • Interest in data products and business analytics
  • Reliable, communicative, and comfortable asking questions
