AI Product-Led Growth Signals Engineer

About the role

Product-led growth depends on signals: which free users are showing buying intent, which accounts have expansion potential, which activated users are likely to churn before converting. Getting these signals right is the difference between a sales team that calls the right accounts at the right time and one that calls everyone and converts nobody. Our experimentation platform has rich behavioral data on 2,400 SaaS clients users. We use that data to build the PLG signals that our clients go-to-market teams rely on daily. Your job is to improve the signal quality — better product qualified lead scoring, more accurate expansion opportunity detection, and churn risk models that identify at-risk accounts 30 days earlier than the current system. You'll work alongside our growth data scientist and interface with client growth teams who give you direct feedback on signal usefulness. Every improvement you make translates to more efficient sales motions for real SaaS companies.

Responsibilities

  • Improve PQL scoring models for free-to-paid conversion prediction
  • Build expansion opportunity detection from product usage and account growth signals
  • Develop churn risk models with 30-day advance warning window
  • Create segmentation models for usage intensity and engagement cohorts
  • Build signal delivery pipelines to CRM and sales engagement tools
  • Analyze signal accuracy through cohort outcome tracking

Requirements

  • 3+ years in product analytics, growth analytics, or ML with SaaS product experience
  • Experience with behavioral data modeling and user event stream analysis
  • Strong SQL and Python skills for complex analytical work
  • Familiarity with PLG concepts and go-to-market signal design
  • Ability to translate model outputs into sales-team-friendly signal formats
