About the role

Our mission is to make AI explainable to non-technical stakeholders. We build dashboards and reporting tools that help compliance teams at banks understand what their ML models are actually doing — and why. This role sits at the intersection of product, data, and trust. You'll own the product roadmap for our explainability suite: feature prioritization, user research with compliance officers, and close collaboration with a team of 6 engineers. You won't just write tickets — you'll prototype prompts, query production data, and present findings to clients directly. The right person has shipped AI-powered products before and can speak fluently to both engineers and regulators. If you've ever had to explain a model's decision to someone whose job depends on understanding it, you know why this matters.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the product roadmap for AI explainability features
  • Conduct user research with compliance and risk teams at financial institutions
  • Prototype solutions using OpenAI API and prompt engineering
  • Define success metrics and track them in Tableau dashboards
  • Present product updates and demos to enterprise clients

Requirements

  • 4+ years as a product manager on ML or data-intensive products
  • Technical fluency — you can write SQL, read Python, and prototype with APIs
  • Experience working with regulated industries (finance, healthcare, insurance)
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Bonus: familiarity with model interpretability frameworks (SHAP, LIME)
