About the role

Every LLM-powered application is a prompt injection vulnerability waiting to happen. Our security platform protects enterprise AI deployments from adversarial prompts, data exfiltration through model outputs, and jailbreak attacks that bypass content policies. We scan 4 million prompts per day across 60 client applications. You'll design and build the detection systems: classifiers that identify malicious prompt patterns, input sanitization pipelines that neutralize injection attempts without breaking legitimate queries, and the red-team simulation framework that stress-tests client deployments against evolving attack techniques. Prompt security is an adversarial arms race. Attack techniques evolve weekly. You'll need to stay ahead by studying new attack papers, building detection for emerging threats, and maintaining an internal library of attack patterns that trains our classifiers. If you understand both the offensive and defensive sides of LLM security, you're exactly who we need.

Responsibilities

  • Design prompt injection detection classifiers for enterprise AI applications
  • Build input sanitization pipelines that neutralize attacks without breaking queries
  • Develop red-team simulation frameworks for client deployment stress testing
  • Maintain an evolving library of prompt attack patterns for classifier training
  • Stay current on emerging LLM security threats and publish internal advisories

Requirements

  • 5+ years in application security or ML security research
  • Deep understanding of LLM architectures and prompt injection techniques
  • Hands-on experience with OpenAI API and LangChain
  • Strong Python skills for building detection systems
  • Experience with adversarial ML or red-teaming
