About the role

Our LLM product team spread across research and applied engineering ships prompt changes weekly, but until now those changes went live based on gut feel rather than measured impact. That gap is what this role closes. The product is a multi-agent assistant used by thousands of paying customers daily, and every prompt template powering it needs a clear before-and-after comparison before rollout. We publish our internal findings and expect you to design experiments rigorously rather than eyeballing a handful of examples. We expect you to build the A/B testing framework, define the metrics that matter for prompt quality, and defend your experimental design in front of the research team.

Responsibilities

  • Build an A/B testing framework for prompt template changes
  • Define quality metrics for prompt performance comparisons
  • Run and analyze prompt experiments before rollout
  • Present experimental design and results to the research team
  • Maintain a library of validated prompt templates

Requirements

  • 3+ years working with LLM applications in production
  • Experience with LangChain and prompt engineering
  • Strong statistical background for experiment design
  • Comfortable defending methodology to a research audience
