AI Prompt Template Version Control Engineer

About the role

We just closed our Series B and every enterprise customer we're onboarding wants their own prompt templates managed like code, not like a shared document that three teams edit simultaneously. We need a senior engineer who can take our existing inference infrastructure and bolt on proper versioning, rollback and diffing for prompt templates across hundreds of production endpoints. Fast-moving team. Big problem. We need someone who ships this before our next big customer launch in six weeks.

Responsibilities

  • Build version control and rollback tooling for prompt templates
  • Design diffing tools that show semantic changes between versions
  • Integrate versioning into existing inference infrastructure
  • Support customer teams migrating to the new template system

Requirements

  • 5+ years building developer tooling or infrastructure
  • Strong experience with LangChain and the OpenAI API
  • Familiarity with version control system design
  • Comfortable shipping under tight deadlines
