About the role

Insurance adjusters assess property damage by visiting each claim site — a process that takes days and costs $200 per inspection. Our AI inspects properties from aerial and street-level imagery, estimating roof age, identifying storm damage, and assessing structural condition without anyone setting foot on the property. Insurers use our assessments for underwriting, renewals, and claims triage. As a junior analyst, you'll help maintain the assessment quality: reviewing AI inspection outputs against adjuster reports, categorizing disagreements by cause (AI error vs. imagery limitation vs. adjuster subjectivity), building validation datasets for specific damage types, and tracking assessment accuracy trends across regions and property types. Property inspection is applied computer vision with financial consequences. Every assessment influences a premium or claim decision. You'll develop an understanding of both the visual indicators of property condition and the insurance workflows that depend on accurate assessment.

Responsibilities
