About the role

Every purchase requisition at our client companies still routes through three to five manual approval steps, most of which could be automated with the right risk model. FastAPI, Airflow, and AWS Lambda are the core of what we build at Quelva Works. If you enjoy replacing manual approval chains with something faster and just as safe, this role is for you. You'll build the service that auto-approves low-risk requisitions and routes only genuinely ambiguous ones to a human. This directly reduces procurement cycle time for our enterprise clients, some of whom currently wait a week for approvals that should take minutes.

Fully remote.

Responsibilities

  • Build a requisition risk-scoring service using FastAPI
  • Design Airflow workflows automating low-risk requisition approvals
  • Define escalation rules for ambiguous or high-risk requisitions
  • Deploy and monitor the service on AWS infrastructure
  • Partner with client procurement teams to validate approval accuracy

Requirements

  • FastAPI experience building production services
  • Airflow experience for workflow orchestration
  • AWS deployment experience
  • Comfort designing risk-based automation logic
  • Procurement or enterprise workflow domain experience a plus
