About the role

Regulatory sandboxes — formal programs where financial services and fintech companies can test AI products with limited regulatory oversight before full deployment — are proliferating. The FCA, MAS, FINMA, and a dozen other regulators now operate sandboxes. But applying, managing participation, and generating the compliance evidence they require is administratively overwhelming for companies without dedicated regulatory teams. We automate regulatory sandbox participation. Our platform manages the application lifecycle, tracks regulatory engagement milestones, generates compliance reporting, and monitors sandbox boundaries — alerting teams when they're approaching the limits of their sandbox authorization. You'll build the monitoring and compliance reporting automation: the pipelines that extract product behavior metrics required by sandbox terms, the report generation that transforms those metrics into the structured formats regulators specify, and the alerting system that ensures companies stay within sandbox boundaries.

Responsibilities

  • Build behavioral monitoring pipelines extracting metrics required by sandbox terms
  • Implement automated compliance report generation for specific regulatory sandbox formats
  • Develop sandbox boundary alerting when product metrics approach authorization limits
  • Create regulatory milestone tracking dashboards for sandbox participation management
  • Maintain adapters for different regulatory sandbox reporting specifications
  • Collaborate with regulatory affairs team to encode sandbox requirements accurately

Requirements

  • 3+ years in software engineering with financial services, regtech, or compliance automation experience
  • Strong Python and SQL skills for pipeline and report generation work
  • Experience building configurable report generation from structured data
  • Familiarity with financial regulation concepts is helpful but not required
  • Detail-oriented approach to working with precise regulatory specifications
