AI Research Compute Cluster Scheduling Engineer

About the role

GPU hours, priority queues, and a research team that always needs more compute than we have are the core of what this role manages. If you've built a job scheduler before, this will feel familiar: researchers submit training jobs, and today whoever complains loudest gets priority. You'll build the fair-scheduling system that balances research priority against available cluster capacity, and you'll be the one researchers thank when their job actually starts on time.

Requirements

  • 3+ years with Kubernetes-based job scheduling
  • Experience with GPU cluster resource management
  • Comfortable working directly with a research team
