AI Retail Planogram Compliance Vision Engineer

About the role

Our mission is to keep grocery and convenience shelves matching the plan retailers actually paid for. This role builds the vision layer that makes that possible at scale. You'll take in-store camera and handheld scanner footage and turn it into planogram compliance scores retailers can act on same-day, not at the end of a quarterly audit cycle. The team already ships shelf-availability models to production; this role extends that stack into full layout compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Design and train vision models that detect planogram deviations from store imagery
  • Own model deployment across edge devices and cloud batch pipelines
  • Drive adoption of automated compliance scoring with retail ops teams
  • Improve detection accuracy across lighting and shelf-density variation

Requirements

  • 5+ years in computer vision, ideally in retail or industrial settings
  • Strong PyTorch and containerized deployment experience
  • Track record shipping vision models to production at scale
  • Comfortable working across cloud and edge inference environments
