About the role

Our clients include research labs that need concrete evidence a model behaves safely before it ships, not just a paper trail. This role builds that evidence. You'll design and run empirical tests that probe model behavior under adversarial and edge-case conditions, then turn results into clear engineering recommendations. You'll work closely with our research team but sit firmly on the engineering side, building tools rather than writing papers.

Responsibilities

  • Design empirical tests for model safety properties
  • Build tooling to automate recurring safety evaluations
  • Turn test results into actionable engineering recommendations
  • Collaborate with research scientists on new test methodologies

Requirements

  • 3+ years in ML engineering, safety-adjacent work a plus
  • Strong PyTorch and statistics fundamentals
  • Comfortable designing rigorous, falsifiable tests
  • Clear written communication for cross-team reports
